FOUNDATION INSPECTION AND FOUNDATION STRUCTURAL REPORT
AJ Engineering Services will do foundation inspection and provide a report with a foundation plan showing current elevations, repair procedures, and recommendations to the owner/client. The foundation inspection and the report will follow the guidelines and the limits recommended by the Foundation Performance Association “Guidelines for the Evaluation of Foundation Movement for Residential and other Low-Rise Buildings by a structural committee
of the Foundation Performance Association #FPA-SC-13-0. The report usually finished and send to the client within 48h and after the inspection completed. Call us to schedule an inspection.
HUD/FHA COMPLIANT FOUNDATION ENGINEERING CERTIFICATION
AJ Engineering Services will do a foundation inspection to
verify if the existing manufactured house meets the minimum requirements of the permanent foundation guide for manufactured
housing (HUD-7584). During the inspection, we check the following:-
1- Foundation Pier requirement per (item 501 and 602-2 A).
2- A permanent well-supported perimeter wall (skirting) encloses the foundation to keep out water and vermin. And has an adequate number of screened vents (1sq ft per 150 sq ft crawl space area) per (item 503-5 C).
3- The tong, axle, and wheels removed.
4- Provide proper drainage to drive the rainwater away from the foundation (item 300).
5- Horizontal anchorage in the transverse and longitudinal direction (items 602-5 & 6).
6- Ground-level must be at least 18 inches below the bottom of the wood floor joists and 12 inches below the bottom of the chassis beam (item 503-5 A).
7- Any additions and modifications do not impact the
structural integrity of the property.
8- Flood zone (201-2).
If the above requirements meet, a HUD Compliant Foundation Engineering Certification letter will be provided.
STRUCTURAL INSPECTION AND BEARING WALL REMOVAL
AJ Engineering Services will do an inspection for the bearing wall removal and provide plans (if necessary) to support the roof and walls from above and a letter to the city.

STRUCTURAL INSPECTION AND RETAINING WALL DESIGN
AJ Engineering Services will perform inspection and provide a design for retaining walls with a height of 4 ft and more.
